Powder Brows Prague — Ombre Eyebrows by AR aesthetics

Twenty minutes at the mirror every morning. Eyebrows that smudge in the rain, at the gym, on holiday. And in the evening, removing it all over again.

Powder Brows create the effect of professionally applied eyebrow makeup that lasts 1.5 to 2.5 years. A soft, shaded texture without harsh contours — like flawless makeup you never have to remove.

Specialist Alesia Rybak has specialised in eyebrow micropigmentation for more than 13 years. AR aesthetics is an accredited academy (MEYS, Ministry of Health, EUROPASS) with a 4.7/5 rating on Google (160+ reviews) and 4.9/5 on Altegio (485+ reviews).

What are powder brows and how do they differ from other techniques?

Powder Brows is a permanent makeup technique in which a special pigment is applied into the upper layers of the skin (depth 0.3–0.5 mm) using a fine dotting method. The result is the effect of professionally applied eyebrow makeup — a soft powdery shadow without harsh contours or an unnatural look.

The pigment gradually fades naturally without changing colour to unwanted shades. The effect lasts 1.5 to 2.5 years depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

The procedure is comfortable thanks to local anaesthesia. Sensitivity varies individually.

Frequently asked questions about powder brows

How much do powder brows cost in Prague?

Powder brows at AR aesthetics start from 4,000 CZK (specialist Angelina) up to 7,500 CZK (specialist Alesia Rybak). Touch-up price — from 2,000 CZK. The price includes consultation, shape and colour selection, anaesthesia and the procedure itself.

How long do powder brows last?

The result lasts 1.5 to 2.5 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. The pigment gradually loses intensity without changing colour to unwanted shades. For a lasting result, we recommend a touch-up 1–3 months after the first procedure.

Are powder brows comfortable?

Yes. We use topical anaesthesia that ensures comfort throughout the procedure. The pigment is applied into the upper layers of the skin (depth 0.3–0.5 mm). Sensitivity varies individually — most clients describe the procedure as very manageable.

Powder brows or microblading — which is better?

It depends on the desired effect. Powder Brows create a professional makeup effect — a full, polished look. Nano Brows (microblading) create a natural hair-stroke effect — ideal for filling in gaps. Both techniques can be combined for a maximum result. Our specialist will recommend the best option during a free consultation.

How long does the powder brows procedure take?

The clinic visit takes approximately 1–1.5 hours. During that time, the consultation, documentation, eyebrow shape design, pigment shade selection based on skin phototype, anaesthesia application and the procedure itself all take place. At the end, you receive aftercare instructions.

What do powder brows look like after healing?

During the first 7–10 days, the colour appears darker than the final result. After complete healing (30 days), the shade settles into a soft powdery effect. The final result is visible after the touch-up (1–3 months after the first procedure). We do not recommend scheduling important events within 10 days of the procedure.

Is a touch-up necessary after powder brows?

Yes, to achieve a lasting result we recommend 1 touch-up 1–3 months after the first procedure. Complete skin regeneration takes 30 days, which is why the touch-up is performed no sooner than one month later. Only after the touch-up can the procedure be considered fully complete.

Who performs powder brows at AR aesthetics?

Powder brows are performed by Alesia Rybak (founder, 13+ years of experience, accredited MEYS/Ministry of Health trainer) and Angelina. Both specialists are trained at the accredited AR aesthetics academy. We will recommend the optimal solution for your case at a free consultation.

How to prepare for the procedure

Before the powder brows procedure, ideally one month beforehand, we recommend not plucking, trimming or shaving your eyebrows. The specialist needs to see the natural growth line, density and colour of the hairs. If you have a specific idea of how your eyebrows should look, it is better to come to the procedure wearing your everyday eyebrow and eye makeup.

  • 10 days before the procedure, stop taking blood-thinning medications (aspirin, etc.) and vasoconstrictors.
  • Do not take antibiotics two weeks before or after the procedure.
  • 10 days before the procedure, avoid sunbeds and sunbathing.
  • 24 hours before, do not consume alcohol, coffee or energy drinks.
  • Do not smoke for at least 2 hours before the procedure.

  • On the day of the procedure, wipe the micropigmentation area with a cotton pad soaked in Corsodyl solution.

  • Do not touch, rub, scratch or pick at the scabs.
  • If the scabs feel tight, apply the product recommended by your specialist.
  • Do not apply creams or decorative cosmetics to the treatment area until healed.
