Permanent Eyebrow Makeup in Prague
Wake up every morning with perfect eyebrows — no pencil, no gel, no 20 minutes in front of the mirror. Permanent eyebrow makeup creates a natural result that lasts 1 to 2.5 years.
Specialist Alesia Rybak has specialised in eyebrow micropigmentation for more than 13 years. AR aesthetics is an accredited academy (MEYS, Ministry of Health, EUROPASS), where our specialists not only perform procedures but also train other permanent makeup professionals.
What you get specifically: mornings without the pencil and 20 minutes at the mirror, confidence at the pool and gym, and a face that looks put-together even with no makeup. It is not about adding cosmetics — it is about not needing them.
Choose your technique — Nano Brows (hair-stroke) or Powder Brows (ombre shading) — or book a free consultation.
Who is permanent eyebrow makeup for?
Eyebrow micropigmentation in Prague — a solution for those who want to look flawless every day:
- Sparse or missing eyebrows — alopecia, chemotherapy effects, trauma
- Eyebrow asymmetry — visual correction of shape and volume
- Scars in the brow area — scar camouflage using hair-stroke technique
- Time saving — perfect eyebrows without daily makeup
- Correction after unsuccessful permanent makeup — cover-up of other specialists‘ work
- Age-related changes — restoring volume as eyebrows thin with age
Who is PMU of eyebrows NOT for — when another path makes more sense
PMU of eyebrows is not for everyone. Sometimes we say „not now” — we explain why and recommend where it makes sense to start. Here are 4 situations where another path is better:
- If your eyebrows are thinning due to acute stress or short-term hormonal imbalance — wait 3–6 months; the cause may resolve on its own. We recommend a check with a dermatologist or endocrinologist, plus iron and vitamin D supplementation. Pigment would lock in a state that may reverse.
- If you have very oily skin (seborrhoea in the T-zone) — microblading fades within 6 months instead of 1–2 years. Powder Brows is better for you (the powder technique holds noticeably longer on oily skin).
- If you want a result with no upkeep for 3+ years — PMU has a life cycle of 2–3 years including refresh. If you are looking for „once and done”, PMU of eyebrows is not the right choice.
- If you have an active condition from the absolute contraindications (acute illness, pregnancy, breastfeeding in the first 4 months, oncology, hepatitis/HIV) — we do not perform the procedure. After recovery / after breastfeeding / after oncology follow-up, you can come. A free consultation is always available.
Not sure? Send a photo of your eyebrows on WhatsApp (+420 776 781 788) — we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense to come.
Permanent eyebrow makeup techniques
Nano Brows — hair-stroke eyebrows (microblading)
The finest hair strokes, indistinguishable from real ones. The specialist draws each stroke following the natural growth direction — the result is so realistic that it cannot be told apart from your natural eyebrows, even up close. 3D hair-stroke technique uses specially thin needles to implant pigment into the upper skin layers at a depth of 0.3–0.5 mm. The procedure is comfortable thanks to local anaesthesia, with no bleeding or swelling.
Ideal for:
- Filling gaps and camouflaging scars in the brow area
- Sparse or missing eyebrows (alopecia, trauma)
- Shape correction while maintaining maximum naturalness
- Full imitation of natural eyebrow growth
Powder Brows — ombre shading
A soft shadow texture — like professional makeup you never need to remove. Powder brows create the effect of „perfectly made-up“ eyebrows 24/7, without harsh contours or an unnatural look. Pigment is applied gently into the upper skin layers; over time it does not shift to unwanted tones and does not fade unevenly. This technique can be used alone or combined with Nano Brows hair-stroke technique.
Ideal for:
- Creating volume and the effect of full, groomed eyebrows
- Enhancing natural eyebrow colour
- Those who want the „makeup without makeup“ effect
- Correcting very light-toned eyebrows
Combination technique
A blend of Nano Brows hair strokes and powder shading — maximum naturalness with a volume effect. The specialist selects the optimal combination of techniques during a free consultation, considering your skin type, face shape and desired result.

Process in 4 stages: Architecture → Application → Healing → Touch-up
PMU of eyebrows is not a single visit. It is a process in 4 stages that takes approximately 1–3 months until the touch-up is complete — only then is the result final. The 7 sub-steps below belong to these stages:
- Stage 1 — Architecture. Steps 1–4. Before any pigment touches the skin, you approve the shape and shade. We sketch with a pencil until you are satisfied. We do not move on without your approval.
- Stage 2 — Application of pigment. Steps 5–6. Topical anaesthetic cream provides comfort. No injections. Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure or tingling — some doze off during the session.
- Stage 3 — Healing. Step 7. 30 days with a predictable curve (described below). WhatsApp support throughout.
- Stage 4 — Touch-up. After 30 days we refine the final shape and saturation. It is not an add-on — it is the second half of one piece of work. Price 50 % of the main procedure (within 3 months).

What happens with the colour — day by day
In the second week your eyebrows look different from what you might expect — the colour often seems to „disappear”. This is a normal phase, not a mistake. Here is day by day what is happening with the colour and why:
| Day | What you see | What is happening underneath |
|---|---|---|
| 0–3 | Colour 30–40 % more saturated than the final shade | Skin is regenerating, pigment is still „settling”. Slight darkness is the intended state. |
| 4–7 | Sharp lightening (up to 50 %), micro-scabs forming | Scabs fall off on their own — do not pick or rub with water. |
| 8–21 | Colour can look „gone” or very faded | The psychologically hardest phase. Pigment is in the skin, just „sleeping” under the regenerating layer. Do not panic — this is normal. |
| 22–30 | Colour returns to the final shade | Regeneration is nearly complete; the final tone settles. |
| 30+ | Touch-up | Refines spots where the pigment did not take. Only then is the result truly final. |
If at any phase you have doubts — message us on WhatsApp. Most concerns are resolved with a single photo and a sentence.
What might worry you — and how we address it
Most clients do not ask about pain. They ask about five other things — and we address each one upfront.
- „What if it does not suit me?” You approve the shape before any pigment touches the skin. We sketch with a pencil until you are satisfied. We do not move on without your approval — the Architecture stage is not a formality.
- „Will it look cheap — bluish or grey like older work I have seen?” We use certified hypoallergenic pigments with proven colour stability. They fade naturally but do not shift to bluish-purple or grey tones. We work at a depth of 0.3–0.5 mm — under the skin, not on it. Portfolios from Alesia and Angelina are in the Before–After section.
- „What if I do not like it a year from now?” PMU of eyebrows has a life cycle of 1–2 years and fades on its own — it is not a definitive decision. If you want full removal, we have the REMOVER method (no laser).
- „What if the specialist makes a mistake — asymmetry, wrong colour?” Alesia Rybak: 13+ years of practice, accredited academy (MEYS, Ministry of Health), 5,000+ PMU eyebrows performed. Angelina: primary specialist trained at the same academy. You approve the shape and shade upfront — and you can stop us at any moment during sketching.
- „How will I look at work for the first 2 weeks?” No bleeding, no swelling. First 3 days slightly more saturated. Days 4–7 lightening and self-falling micro-scabs. Days 8–21 the colour can look „gone” — the pigment is in the skin, just „sleeping”. Days 22–30 the final shade returns. Most clients go to work as usual from day 1. (Details in the „day by day” section.)
3 factors that determine your result
The result does not depend only on the specialist’s technique. It also depends on you — and we will tell you straight which three things really decide it.
- 1. What you take and what nobody asks about. Botox, antibiotics, chemical peeling, recent laser procedures — all of these affect how the pigment takes. Your part: tell us everything upfront, even what seems irrelevant. Our part: free 30-min consultation, anamnesis, possibly postponing the procedure.
- 2. Your skin — what it can and cannot do. Dry skin holds pigment better than oily. The body also pushes part of the pigment out through natural regeneration — that is why a touch-up is needed. Your part: describe your skin honestly. Our part: pigment and depth choice by phototype, oversight in touch-ups, possibly a second touch-up when covering existing PMU.
- 3. The first 30 days at home. Up to 50 % of the result depends on aftercare. Your part: 5 days dry, 14 days no sun, 30 days regeneration — not a formality, it is co-authoring the result. Our part: written instructions, WhatsApp support for the first 7 days, FAQ for every phase of healing.

How to prepare for the procedure
Before the eyebrow micropigmentation procedure, ideally one month prior, we recommend not plucking, trimming or shaving your eyebrows. The specialist needs to see the natural growth line, eyebrow density and colour. If you have a specific idea of how your eyebrows should look, it is best to arrive for the procedure with your everyday brow and eye makeup.
- 10 days before the procedure, stop taking blood-thinning medications (aspirin, etc.) and vasoconstrictive preparations.
- Do not take antibiotics two weeks before or after the procedure.
- 10 days before the procedure, avoid tanning beds and sunbathing.
- 24 hours before, avoid alcohol, coffee and energy drinks.
- Do not smoke for at least 2 hours before the procedure.

Aftercare
The quality of the result depends 50% on proper aftercare. Complete skin regeneration takes 30 days. Please note that for up to 10 days after the procedure, we do not recommend scheduling important events — the use of decorative cosmetics on the eyebrows is prohibited during this time.
- On the day of the procedure, wipe the micropigmentation area with a cotton pad soaked in Corsodyl solution.
- Until the scabs fall off, avoid swimming pools, saunas and steam baths. Do not wet the treated area.
- Do not touch, rub, scratch or pick at the scabs.
- If the scabs feel tight, use the product recommended by your specialist.
- Until healed, do not apply creams or decorative cosmetics to the treated area.
- For three weeks, do not expose the area to sunlight. Use SPF 30 cream.
The touch-up 1–3 months after the first appointment is part of the procedure system — without it the pigment is not final. A refresh at 80 % of the main price is available within the 12–18 month window.
